Terms of Service
Last updated · June 4, 2026
These terms ("Terms") govern your use of ClipCam. By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use ClipCam.
The service
ClipCam lets short-form creators record reactions over a source clip and delivers a finished side-by-side video back to your camera roll. The service includes the iOS and Android apps, the web app, and our cloud rendering pipeline.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to use ClipCam.
- Keep your sign-in credentials safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person, one account — don't share an account or sign up multiple times to abuse free quotas.
Your content
You own the videos you upload and the reactions you record. By using ClipCam, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and stream your media solely so we can deliver the service to you (rendering your export, letting you download it, syncing across your devices). We don't claim ownership and we don't use your media to train AI models. When you publish a Duo, a broader license applies — see "Publishing Duos" below.
Publishing Duos (public content)
ClipCam lets you publish a video as a "Duo" — either a finished reaction or a clip you upload directly. Publishing a Duo makes it public: the video, its caption, your display name and @handle, and its engagement counts are visible to anyone, including people without a ClipCam account, and can be opened or shared through a public link.
- You are solely responsible for everything in a Duo you publish. You must own, or have all the rights, licenses, and consents needed for, the entire video — including any source clip, music, footage, trademarks, and the likeness of every person who appears in it.
- By publishing a Duo, you grant ClipCam a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and stream that Duo so we can show it in the public feed, on your profile, and via shareable links, and to feature it to promote the service. This license ends when the Duo is removed, except that copies already cached or shared by others may persist outside our control for a time.
- You can unpublish your own Duos at any time. We may also remove a Duo we believe violates these Terms or the law, or in response to a valid rights-holder or legal request.
- You agree to indemnify and hold ClipCam harmless from any claim, demand, or damages — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of a Duo you published, or from your breach of the rights or consents described above.
What you can't do
- Upload content you don't have the rights to — copyrighted clips you didn't license, content that depicts other people without their consent.
- Upload illegal content — including but not limited to CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, content that promotes violence or terrorism, or content that defames others.
- Abuse the service — automated scraping, reverse engineering, bypassing usage limits, attempting to extract other users' data, distributing malware, or interfering with our infrastructure.
- Resell ClipCam — you can't repackage the service or its outputs as your own competing product.
Subscriptions and billing
- ClipCam offers a free tier and paid Pro tiers. Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis until you cancel: on the web, payments are processed securely by Razorpay; on mobile, by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android).
- Auto-renewal — your subscription renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. For store purchases, cancel at least 24 hours before renewal per the platform's terms.
- Cancellation — web subscriptions can be cancelled in the app at Profile → Manage Subscription (or by contacting us); App Store / Play Store subscriptions are cancelled via your Apple ID or Google account. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current period.
- Refunds — see our Cancellation & Refund Policy at clipcam.app/refunds. Store (Apple/Google) purchases are also subject to those stores' refund policies. Contact us if you believe you were charged in error and we'll help.
- Pricing changes — if we change prices, we'll notify you before your next renewal. Any promotional or launch discount applies as described at purchase and ends per its terms.
Termination
You can stop using ClipCam and delete your account anytime from Profile → Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when reasonably possible. After termination, your media is deleted within 30 days; export anything you want first.
Disclaimers
ClipCam is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep things running and your data safe, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it'll meet every use case.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClipCam is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to the service or these terms
We may add, change, or remove features. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated in-app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect for paid users.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes that can't be resolved by emailing us first will be settled in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
